You do the tax, we do the digging
Crypto record reconstruction and reconciliation for New Zealand accounting firms. Including the histories that no longer exist in usable form.
Fixed prices. Five day turnaround.
CALL US WHEN:
The software's answer is wrong. Transfers between the client's own wallets counted as sales, two tools giving two different numbers from the same file.
The data is messy. Broken transaction exports, exchanges that don't agree with each other, or years where nothing was recorded at all.
The exchange is gone or wallet is missing. We rebuild what the bank records and the blockchain can prove, and document what can't be.
The quote scares the client off. Priced honestly, crypto work comes in high enough that clients can walk. At a fixed price, it stays affordable, and the relationship stays yours.
The grunt work is ours. The judgement stays yours.
WHAT YOU GET
A confidence flag on every row, taken directly from a source record, calculated from one, or reconstructed.
A reconstruction register listing every gap, the evidence used to fill it, and the reasoning behind it.
Every transaction in one consistent format, converted to New Zealand dollars.
A balance check proving the numbers hold together, so nothing is unaccounted for.
A yearly gains position, ready for review.
A single workbook your team can file from.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tell me what the client has. A short call or an email. I'll tell you what can realistically be rebuilt, what it would cost, and how long it will take. No charge for that.
2. Fixed quote. A price for the whole job before any work starts. No hourly billing, no scope creep.
3. Data collection. Files go into an encrypted folder, stored in New Zealand. Read-only exports and public wallet addresses only never private keys, seed phrases or passwords.
4. Delivery. Five working days once collection is done. Invoice to you, or direct to your client, whichever suits the relationship.
No chasing exports. One hand over, then we take it from there.

ABOUT ME
I'm Pavel Kvatch, based in Auckland and working nationwide.
This started with my own crypto records. I ran them through three well-known tax tools and got three different answers, each off by thousands. On a straightforward file with complete records and nothing exotic. If a file like that gave me that much trouble, plenty of people are filing numbers that don't hold up. So I rebuilt it properly, traced every figure back to its source, and found I was good at it.
I studied accounting at university, but my working background is data management in film. Working in VFX, handling how camera and shot data moves between systems from production through post. Thousands of files, dozens of handoffs. One mismatch anywhere and it surfaces weeks later.
Finding it is never a hunch. It's working back through every step until the break shows itself, then building a check that catches it next time. Crypto records need exactly the same approach.
What I'm offering is the thing I wanted when I started, someone to take the mess and hand back something clear, priced so it’s worth doing rather than avoiding.
